Reviews and Ratings
I had a lovely stay at the hotel! The rooms were newly refurbished, including the bathroom, so no complaints there. The birthday meal was great, and breakfast in the dining room was delightful. While the hotel could do with modernization, it was more than comfortable for my stay.
My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The room, even though freshly redecorated, was small and felt a bit worn out, but it was spotlessly clean. The temperature was uncomfortably hot despite opening the windows. The service, from booking to housekeeping, was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was really quiet, ideal for my needs, and just a stone's throw from the train station with a direct service. The dining experience was ok, with breakfast being a bit underwhelming. On the bright side, the Bernese Fries were a delight. One downside was being near noisy kitchen equipment early in the morning. The facilities were generally adequate.
The hotel had very clean and comfortable rooms, with friendly and helpful service. The location was convenient, close to the train station and shops, but noisy due to the kitchen exhaust fan. The dining experience was exceptional with well-prepared and satisfying meals. Overall, a great value for money with some noise inconvenience.
The hotel provided a mixed experience. The rooms, though clean and cozy, were a bit too warm even with open windows. The service was exceptional, making tasks easier, and the staff were truly professional and friendly. The location was convenient but possibly noisy for some due to the kitchen exhaust fan. The dining was satisfactory, with some excellent dishes cooked to order. Overall, a decent stay with some minor drawbacks.
The hotel room was small but absolutely perfect for our 2-night stay with a comfy bed, plenty of pillows, desk, cupboard, and bedside cabinets. The staff were awesome, very friendly, providing helpful amenities like an ironing board, iron, and hairdryer. The location, though let down by a noisy extract fan, was very convenient, just 10 minutes from the train station, and quiet on a Saturday night. The dining experience was cooked to order and one of the best I've had in a long time. However, the breakfast could have been extended, and checkout felt too early.
